On Thursday, February 21, 2019 a Dinner with the Dean was held at California Northstate University (CNU) College of Health Sciences. The Dinner was a formal event which mainly served as an opportunity for admitted/prospective students and parents to interact with current students, staff, and the dean (Dr. Heather Brown). Each table had at least one staff member, some current students, and some prospective students, which allowed prospective students to get a better overall grasp of CNU. The Dinner started off with a speech from the dean about CNU, it’s students, staff, and how the small nature of the school really makes it an amazing place for students to learn. The guests were then excused to eat dinner, which included several different types of pasta, lasagna, salads, and cookies. There was then a magic show performed by a member of the faculty of the California Northstate University’s College of Medicine (COM) and two songs performed on the ukulele by a student at the College of Medicine who formerly attended the College of Health Sciences. Students, family, and staff were then allowed to mingle Tours of the campus were also offered to students and family that were interested.
